Saskatoon’s Mitch Clarke (11-4-0) will be the hometown hero when he steps into the octagon against American Alex White (11-3-0) at Edmonton’s UFC 215 Sept. 2.

Both fighters are trying to return to the win column with Clarke, 31, dropping a submission loss to Joseph Duffy in his last bout at UFC Fight Night 90 last July, while Missouri’s White, 28, took a decision loss to Tony Martin at UFC Fight Night 103 in January.

UFC 215 is scheduled for Sept. 9 at the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta.
