The UFC announced today that New Zealand welterweight Luke Jumeau (12-3-0) will face Shinsho Anzai (9-2-0) at UFC Fight Night 117 in Saitama, Japan Sept. 23.

The 31-year-old Anzai will have the hometown advantage as the Tokyo native. He is 1-1-0 in the octagon with his last fight a TKO win over Roger Zapata at UFC Fight Night 75 (Zapata suffered an injury to his finger).

Jumeau, 29, won his debut in Australia over Dominique Steele at UFC Fight Night 110 in Auckland.

UFC Fight Night 117 is scheduled for Sept. 23 at the Saitama Super Arena. The card currently includes:
