The UFC confirmed today that heavyweight Zu Anyanwu (14-4-0), fresh from the Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series (DWTNCS), will replace injured Dmitri Sosnovskiy and face Justin Ledet (8-0-0) at UFC Fight Night 116 this Saturday in Pittsburgh.

The 36-year-old “Zulu” took advantage of the opportunity at DWTNCS, knocking out Greg Rebello in July, earning the callup from the UFC.

Meanwhile, “El Blanco,” 28, is undefeated in eight fights, including his first two octagon bouts.

UFC Fight Night 116 is scheduled for Sept. 16 at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Luke Rockhold meets David Branch in the main event.
