Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger (19-5-0, 1NC) successfully defended her crown at Invicta FC 22 Saturday evening, submitting Russian Yana Kunitskaya (9-3-1, 1NC) at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City. Evinger was looking to make a statement after controversially losing the first bout, and despite almost getting finished by a Kunitskaya guillotine choke in the first round, stormed back in the second frame to secure the rear-naked choke at 4:32.
