Kendall Karson creates medical expenses fund to help friend Christy Mack

Christy Mack, the model and adult film actress who suffered a horrific incidence of domestic abuse August 8 – allegedly at the hands of her ex-boyfriend – is getting some help from her friends.

Colleague Kendall Karson started a fundraiser campaign to help with her medical expenses. At the time of writing, over $50,000 USD has been donated towards the goal of $100,000 with 91 days remaining.

Twelve donations totalling approximately $600 USD came in during the writing of this article alone.

Mack is currently recovering in hospital.

She revealed on her Twitter account all of the details she suffered allegedly by her ex-boyfriend and former UFC fighter “War Machine,” whose real name is Jon Koppenhaver.

Las Vegas police indicated that Koppenhaver, – who is currently on the lamb – is the prime suspect in the case.

Koppenhaver also took to his Twitter account to state his side of the story.

Information regarding his whereabouts can be reported to Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or 911. A $20,000 USD reward is being offered for information that leads to his arrest.

Duane Chapman, known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, threatend Kopenhaver to hunt him down if he doesn’t turn himself in.

The incident is the latest of a rash of recent domestic abuse incidents in the MMA community.

Former UFC fighter Josh Grispi was charged with domestic abuse and assault charges after allegedly using his bull terrier dog to attack his wife Kaitlyn after assaulting her himself.

One officer described the case as “the worst case of domestic abuse that I’ve seen.”

August marks the first anniversary of Invicta FC fighter and current UFC strawweight Bec Hyatt‘s admission to being a victim of domestic abuse.

Social media continues to rally around Mack, in particular her Twitter account with overwhelming messages of support.

Despite her extensive recovery timetable, Mack continues to acknowledge her supporters with responses of thanks.

Donations can be sent to the Christy Mack medical expense fund.
