Former UFC world bantamweight champion Renan Barao (32-2-0, 1 NC) will return to the octagon against Canadian Mitch Gagnon (12-2-0) at UFC Fight Night 58.
Barao fell ill on the eve of UFC 177 trying to cut weight for his rematch with current champion TJ Dillashaw.
Joe Soto filled in and lost a fourth round TKO.
Welcome back to The Crossfire.
Gagnon, who impressively finished Roman Salazar at UFC Fight Night 54: MacDonald vs Saffiedine, has his work cut out for him.
Barao has lost once in the last ten years.
But Gagnon, the pride of Sudbury, has won ten of his last eleven bouts.
