Luke Rockhold secured a second round guillotine submission victory over Michael Bisping in a somewhat chippy main event at UFC Fight Night 55.
The evening featured a record eleven finishes in eleven fights.
Welcome back to The Crossfire.

MMA Crossfire Expert Cassie Wiseman is away, so Kenai Andrews fills in to share his thoughts on the main event matchups.
“THE HULK” SOA PALELEI VS WALT “THE BIG TICKET” HARRIS

ANDREWS PREDICTION: SOA PALELEI VIA TKO
WINNER: SOA PALELI VIA TKO
Andrews: Just a hard fought battle Harris gave Palelei all he could handle. But then The Hulk turned green. A good win.
ROBERT WHITTAKER VS CLINT “HEADBUSSA” HESTER

ANDREWS PREDICTION: ROBERT WHITTAKER VIA UNANIMOUS DECISION
WINNER: ROBERT WHITTAKER VIA TKO
Andrews: Whittaker was too accurate and technical for Hester, who landed his shots, but weren’t enough. On the other side, I thought Whittaker would pile up the points, but he did much more than that, using the knees to close the deal. Great performance by Whittaker.
ROSS “REAL DEAL” PEARSONÂ VS AL “RAGING BULL” IAQUINTA

ANDREWS PREDICTION: ROSS PEARSON VIA TKO
WINNER: AL IAQUINTA VIA TKO
Andrews: Iaquinta got to Pearson before Pearson got to him. Great counter with the right hand after blocking the headkick. Iaquinta had some hard luck in his last couple of fights. This is what happens when you refuse to let those things affect your confidence. Good win.
MAIN EVENT
#5 LUKE ROCKHOLD VS #9 MICHAEL “THE COUNT” BISPING

ANDREWS PREDICTION: LUKE ROCKHOLD VIA TKO
WINNER: LUKE ROCKHOLD VIA SUBMISSION
Andrews: Bisping valiantly tried to keep Rockhold at bay with the jab, footwork and his kicks, but it felt like holding water in your hands. Rockhold eventually found the opening, landed the headkick and finished on the ground for the tap. Hard luck to Bisping, who loses again at a most inopportune time, but a good win for Luke.
