Quebec fight fans will have a special Valentines Day this year.
That’s because tickets for Montreal’s UFC 186 – which features a UFC bantamweight title rematch between TJ Dillashaw and #2 former champ Renan Barao – go on sale February 14th.
GSP protege Rory MacDonald (18-2-0) will face #5 Hector Lombard (35-4-0, 1 NC) in what looks like a solid card from top to bottom.
Welcome back to The Crossfire.
Dillashaw (12-2-0) secured the performance of 2014 in many of the experts eyes with his upset of Barao (35-2-0, 1 NC) at UFC 173. Barao was supposed to rematch at UFC 177, but became ill and was replaced by Joe Soto at the last minute.
Barao recently submitted Canadian Mitch Gagnon to get back on track.
Montreal also gets the return of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (32-10-0), who will be welcomed back by #13 Fabio Maldonaldo (22-7-0), a Brazilian who lists Rampage as one of his idols.
Other announced matches include:
#9 MICHAEL BISPING (26-7-0) vs #10 C.B. DOLLAWAY (16-7-0)
PATRICK COTE (21-9-0) vs JOE RIGGS (40-15-0)
OLIVIER AUBIN-MERCIER (6-1-0) vs DAVID MICHAUD (8-1-0)
JESSICA RAKOCZY (1-4-0) vs. VALERIE LETOURNEAU (6-3-0)
Tickets go on sale to the general public Saturday February 14th at 12 noon ET.
UFC Fight Club members get first dibs on UFC 186, beginning Thursday February 12th at 12pm ET. UFC newsletter subscribers get pre-access Friday February 13th starting at 12pm ET.
Additional bouts will be announced.
