MMA Crossfire – February 18th is D-Day for the UFC

Wednesday, February 18th could mark a new era in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

UFC chairman Lorenzo Fertitta along with president Dana White have scheduled a media-only press conference for Wednesday at 1pm ET and it’s not going to be the warm-fuzzy type.

The issue of failed drug tests is expected to be thoroughly addressed, with aggressive new measures announced to eradicate it.

The Red Rock Casino Resort in LAs Vegas is the venue and the event will be streamed live via ufc.com.

The press conference comes on the heels of recent failed drug tests by some of it’s biggest stars like Anderson Sllva, Nick Diaz, Jon Jones and Hector Lombard.

The issue threatens to throw the sport of mixed martial arts into disrepute.
