Lights, Camera, Action!

How many MMA fans secretly watched Wrestlemania 31?

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and pro wrestling is still taboo for a certain segment of diehard MMA fans.

The way they see it, it’s bad enough Brock Lesnar (who recently resigned with the WWE) entered the UFC and had a run as the heavyweight champion.

They certainly wouldn’t be caught dead watching Wrestlemania 31 tonight.

Or would they?

Wrestlemania 31 takes place tonight at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

For the record, we are pro wrestling fans, as are many fighters.

Full disclosure: I interviewed many wrestlers during my time at SLAM! Wrestling, considered one of few journalistic websites that cover wrestling.

Here are their thoughts on the big show.

Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar takes on Roman Reigns in one of the feature matches.

The Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton vs Seth Rollins are also key bouts.

One thing we’ve been harping the UFC for awhile is the elegant WWE Hall-of-Fame induction ceremonies which, quite frankly, put the UFC’s terse versions to shame.

At any rate, you can be sure Ronda Rousey will we watching.

The floor is open. Will you be watching Wrestlemania 31?
