Several key sources are reportedly confident of an agreement for boxing stars Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (45-1-1, 32 KOs) and Miguel Cotto (40-4-0, 33 KO) to fight later this year will broker this month.
According to LatinoPost.com, Golden Boy Promotions president Oscar De Lay Hoya confirmed they are close to a deal with Cotto and his team. Gabriel Penagaricano, who is the legal adviser for Cotto, pegs it at 90% according to BoxingScene.
This could be great news for fight fans.
