Cyborg defends featherweight belt against Ibragimova at Invicta FC 15

Featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino (14-1-0, 1NC) will welcome Russian Daria Ibragimova (9-1-0) into the Invicta FC cage January 16th.

The Hangar in Costa Mesa, California will be the place instead of familiar Kansas City, with all eyes on Justino. Based on the recent UFC 193 events, she decided to stay at 145 pounds, effectively putting a future bout with Ronda Rousey on the shelf.

The card will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.

Justino continues to wreck through her division. She put away Faith Van Duin in seconds into the UFC 13 contest.

Ibragimova meanwhile, carries a seven-fight win streak with seven submissions, and six wins coming in the first round.

Strawweight champion Livia Renata Souza (8-0-0) defends her belt against Deanna Bennett (8-0-0). Souza won the title with an impressive win over Katja Kankaanpaa at Invicta FC 12.

Bennett has a four-fight win streak going, and a win over Kankaanpaa as well.

Former UFC strawweight Angela Hill (2-2-0) will make her debut against Invicta veteran Jodie Esquivel (5-1-0), who is moving up from atomweight.

Other bouts include:

Atomweight: Amber Brown (5-1) vs. Lisa Ellis (15-10)

Strawweight: Jodie Esquibel (5-1) vs. Angela Hill (2-2)

More fights are expected to be announced.
