UFC Fight Night 81 sees some late changes

Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 81 will have a few late changes.

The Mairbek Taisumov vs Abdul-Kerim Edilov fight is now off the table.

TUF22 alum Mehdi Baghdad (11-3-0) will make his octagon debut by replacing Taisumov, who sustained an injury and face Chris Wade (10-1-0).

Also, light-heavyweight Elvis Mutapcic (15-3-0), who replaces Edilov, will take on Brazil’s Francimar Barroso (17-4-0).

Finally, Jimy Hettes (11-3-0) has been forced to pull out of his fight with Charles Rosa (10-2-0) with a severe knee injury during training. It may force him to retire from the sport.

Hettes will be replaced by newcomer Augusto Mendes (5-0-0).

The main remains the anticipated bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw defending against former champ Dominick Cruz.
