Ronda Rousey next in line for Miesha Tate’s UFC women’s bantamweight title

Former UFC women’s champion Ronda Rousey (12-1-0) is next according to UFC president Dana White.

White confirmed in the aftermath of UFC 196 that Rousey is the #1 contender.

White confirmed the Rousey title shot during a post-UFC196 discussion with ESPN.

With the title now in the hands of Tate, the trilogy fight between her and Rousey is more interesting.

Rousey has two finishes over Tate, one in Strikeforce to win bantamweight title from Tate there and a UFC title defence submission at UFC 168.

Tate refused to speculate at the post-fight press conference who the #1 contender should be, simply that she’ll fight whoever is in front of her.

The $64,000 question is: What does Cat Zingano (9-1-0) think of all this?
