Letourneau returns at UFC Fight Night 89 to face Calderwood

Montreal’s Valerie Letourneau (8-4-0), who lost a competitive unanimous decision to champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 193, will battle Scotland’s Joanne Calderwood (10-1-0).

The fight was announced on UFC Canada’s twitter page.

Calderwood herself is returning from a knee injury that sidelined her through much of 2015.

These two women usually compete at 115 pounds, but will be fighting at 125 pounds in a one-time-only Β in the UFC’s first female flyweight fight.
