Illness forces Anderson Silva off UFC 198 card

Anderson Silva (33-7-0, 1NC) will not be fighting Uriah Hall (13-6-0) in his hometown of Curtibia, Brazil at UFC 198 this Saturday, An illness has forced him off the card.

The UFC is currently looking for a replacement for Silva so that Hall can compete.

Silva, the former champion who is currently ranked #5 in the middleweight division was looking to end a 3-fight losing skid.

UFC 198 takes place May 14th. Fabricio Werdum defends his heavyweight belt against Stipe Miocic Β in the main event.
