Former 3-time heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali dead at 74
Muhammad Ali, who became a three-time heavyweight champion, passed away late Friday evening in Phoenix, Arizona.
Ali was admitted into hospital recently for respiratory complications. A family member confirmed to NBC News that Ali died.

Ali lived an extraordinary life, enraging mainstream America in the 1960s by refusing military service and then endearing them with his legendary battles in the ring and his charisma.
