TSN 5 MAIN CARD

#5 VALERIE LETOURNEAU (8-4-0) VS #12 JOANNE CALDERWOOD (10-1-0)

UFC Fight Night 89

Opponents Valerie Letourneau of Canada and Joanne Calderwood of Scotland face off during the UFC Fight Night Weigh-in inside the Arena at TD Place on June 17, 2016 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images)

Andrews: Calderwood is returning from a long time on the shelf due to injury. I like Calderwood and her Muay Thai, but Letourneau proved in her fight against Jedrzejczyk that she is tough too. Letourneau also takes a lot of damage. Assuming JoJo is back to full strength, she should get the decision win.

Andrews Prediction: Joanne Calderwood via unanimous decision.

OLIVIER AUBIN-MERCIER (8-2-0) VS THIBAULT GOUTI (11-1-0)

UFC Fight Night 89

Opponents Olivier Aubin-Mercier of Canada and Thibault Gouti of France face off during the UFC Fight Night Weigh-in inside the Arena at TD Place on June 17, 2016 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images)

Andrews: Both are trying to get back into the win column, as well as take the fight to the ground. So, this could end up a boring stalemate on the feet. Tough to say. I have to go with the grappling and  experience advantage of Aubin-Mercier here.

Andrews Prediction: Olivier Aubin-Mercier via unanimous decision.

STEVE BOSSE (11-2-0) VS SEAN O’CONNELL (17-7-0)

UFC Fight Night 89

Opponents Steve Bosse of Canada and Sean OConnell of the United States face off during the UFC Fight Night Weigh-in inside the Arena at TD Place on June 17, 2016 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images)

Andrews: Bosse looked impressive in his last fight, and O’Connell seems to be another suitable less-than-technical candidate for an upset “Who’s the Bosse” highlight.

Andrews Prediction: Steve Bosse via TKO.

DONALD CERRONE (29-7-0, 1NC) VS PATRICK COTE (24-9-0)

UFC Fight Night 89

Opponents Donald Cerrone of the United States and Patrick Cote of Canada face off during the UFC Fight Night Weigh-in inside the Arena at TD Place on June 17, 2016 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images)

Andrews: Cote has been on a nice run, but it should end here with The Cowboy. Cerrone is more technical and he should be able to outstrike Cote. He just needs to avoid the big shots. Cote needs to turn this into a brawl to win, which he can do, but Cerrone should be smart enough to avoid.

Andrews Prediction: Donald Cerrone via unanimous decision.

MAIN EVENT

#1 RORY MACDONALD VS #2 STEPHEN THOMPSON (12-1-0)

UFC Fight Night 89

Opponents Rory MacDonald of Canada and Stephen Thompson of the United States face off during the UFC Fight Night Weigh-in inside the Arena at TD Place on June 17, 2016 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images)

Andrews: MacDonald needs to get the fight to the ground, while Thompson needs to keep the distance so he can use his kicks. Until someone can knock Thompson off his feet, I’m going to go with The Wonderboy. That said, I wouldn’t be shocked if MacDonald was able to overcome. I just don’t think he will.

Andrews Prediction: Stephen Thompson via TKO.
