Undisputed heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0-0, 18 KOs) revealed he sprained his ankle training and will postpone his July 9th fight against former champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-4-0, 53 KOs).
In an instagram video post, Fury explained the fight will be rescheduled once the ankle gets better, which should be around 6-7 weeks.
Welcome back to The Crossfire.
The fight was supposed to happen July 9th in Fury’s hometown of Manchester, England.

In an earlier April 27th press conference, Fury exposes his decidedly out-of-shape body and taunts Klitschko with it.
According to an ESPN article, the Fury pullout is likely in part due to Fury’s lack of fitness and preparedness.
Fury is injured and rematch postponed. This just means I'll get my belt a few weeks later." #NowMoreThanEver

Fury won the belt from Klitschko November 28th in a stunning unanimous decision win. Klitschko has been anxious for the rematch to win it back.
No official reschedule date has been released.
