Combate Americas holding open tryouts August 13th

So, you want to be a fighter? American Hispanic MMA organization Combate Americas is holding its first open tryout in Pasadena, California August 13th.

Here’s how to sign up.

Combate Americas is currently streamed on UFC Fight Pass. It’s CEO, Campbell McLaren, is formerly associated with the UFC.

The tryouts will be be judged by ranked UFC women’s bantamweight Julianna Pena (9-2-0), referee Mike Beltran and Combate Americas Fight Director Mel Valenzuela.

The tryouts are August 13th, 2016 from 12 noon PST to 5PM PST at the Fight Academy Pasadena:

1830 Locust Street, Pasadena, California, 91107

Applicants must be eighteen (18) years or older and in good health. There will be a doctor on site for clearance.

Amateur and professional fighters are welcome.

“If you come to the event with friends and/or family, please be advised that space is limited and we will give priority to participants. We expect to have a full house.”
