World Series of Fighting (WSOF) CEO Carlos Silva recently announced on the WSOF 32 show they will be throwing a card at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden on December 31st.
The card is pending the approval of the New York State Athletic Commission.
It will also be broadcast live on NBCSN.
Welcome back to The Crossfire.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring our exciting, world championship live event series to The Big Apple, where fans have been anxiously waiting for years, for live, professional MMA action to be able to happen in their city,” Silva said on the WSOF 32 broadcast.
MMA was formally legalized in New York earlier in March, largely by the efforts of the UFC.
