Browne steps in to replace Rothwell at UFC 203

Heavyweight Travis Browne (18-4-1),  currently ranked #7, will get the opportunity to redeem himself at UFC 203 against former champ  and #1 contender Fabricio Werdum (20-6-1).

Browne is replacing Ben Rothwell, who pulled out of the fight with an ACL-related injury.

Werdum won an unanimous decision over Browne in April 2014.  Werdum went on afterwards to win the interim belt and dethrone Cain Velasquez to complete the unification. Stipe Miocic then defeated Werdum at UFC 198 to take the crown.
