Former UFC fighter Matt “The Hammer” Hamill (10-7-0) will return to the cage in a light heavyweight battle with Kansas City’s Julian Marquez (3-1-0) at Combate Americas: Empire Rising Oct. 14.
Combate Americas and TUFF-N-UFF are partnering together with the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York.
Empire Rising is one of New York State’s first MMA cards since the sport was legalized in March.
