UFC No. 5 featherweight Cub Swanson (23-7-0) will welcome South Korean sensation Dooho Choi (14-1-0) to Toronto.

Choi, currently ranked No. 13, has a chance to leapfrog into the upper rankings with an impressive win Dec. 10.

“The Korean Superboy” is on fire with a 12-fight win streak, including an impressive TKO of Thiago Tavares at the TUF 23 Finale.

Swanson will look to build on two decision victories.

It was one week ago when UFC announced light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (18-1-0) will defend his belt against No.1 contender Anthony Johnson (22-5-0) in the main event.

Cormier was supposed to defend against interim champion Jon Jones at UFC 200 in the summer, but Jones was replaced by Anderson Silva after he failed a USADA drug test.

One thing to note is that the bout was not announced as the main event. According to UFC general manager for Canadian operations Tom Wright, efforts were being made to land Georges St-Pierre, but nothing has worked out thus far.

This rematch with Johnson will be Cormier’s second defence. In the first bout at UFC 187, Cormier claimed the belt with a submission win.

Johnson bounced back from the loss to finish Jimi Manuwa, Ryan Bader, and Glover Teixeira.
