The Andrews Report – Tiffany Teo to debut at Singapore’s ONE: Defending Honor

Asian organization ONE Championship announced earlier this week 26-year-old bantamweight Tiffany “The Soul Crusher” Teo (3-0-0) is scheduled to debut against 32-year-old Walaa “Katyusha” Abbas (2-3-0) – former Egyptian boxing champ – at ONE: Defending Honor.

One Championship

“It is an honor for me to compete in ONE Championship. I am very blessed to be in the position that I am, ready to give it my all and take it one fight at a time,” Teo said in a press release. “I’m also excited to perform in front of my friends and family in Singapore.”

The date to mark down is Nov. 11, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Check out Teo here, against Nur Athirah at Singapore Fighting Championships 2.

Could we have another rising star?

A relatively quiet week, as UFC 204 did not have any female fights on the card.

In terms of the octagon, we’ll have to wait until Mexico’s UFC Fight Night 98 for the debut of Invicta FC standout Alexa Grasso (8-0-0) against TUF alum Heather Clark (7-5-0).

UFC strawweight Kailin Curran (4-3-0) is scheduled to return to the octagon Dec. 3 against Orlando’s Jamie Moyle (3-1-0) at the TUF 24 Finale.

The 25-year-old Hawaiian is looking to bounce back from a submission loss to Felice Herrig at UFC on FOX 20, while the former Invicta FC product Moyle is making her UFC debut.
