Canadian Bellator featherweight Julia Budd (9-2-0) made a victorious return Oct. 21 at Bellator 162 with a majority decision win over Australia’s Arlene Blencowe (7-6-0).

Budd used her takedowns and ground game to neutralize the striking of Blencowe, particularly in the second round.

Budd’s victory likely resets the table for the previously scheduled Bellator featherweight title bout with Marloes Coenen.

24-year-old Milwaukee bantamweight Leah Letson (3-1-0) announced today on her Facebook page intentions to fight Jan. 27 in a Pure FC title bout.
