UFC 205: Kelvin Gastelum fails to make weight, pulled from fight with Donald Cerrone

UFC 205 is down to five main card matchups after welterweight Kelvin Gastelum’s (12-2-0) no-show at the UFC 205 early weigh-ins.

This means his fight with Donald Cerrone (31-7-0) is now off the table.

Gastelum has now missed weight three times at welterweight, but he wasn’t the only one.

Brazilian Thiago Alves came in 6.2 pounds over the 156 pound  lightweight limit, putting his opponent Jim Miller (27-8-0) in a bit of a quandary. The New York State Athletic Commission required both fighters to weigh within five pounds of each other, forcing Miller to rehydrate for a 163-pound catchweight.

The other stipulation is that Alves can weigh no more than 173 pounds on Saturday,
