Happy Holidays everyone! It is Christmas Day, but let’s remember: There are still duties to perform, and life to carry on.

UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes (13-4-0) is feeling a little disrespected by the hype and attention on former champion Ronda Rousey’s (12-1-0) return Dec. 30 at UFC 207.
And can you blame her?
“The Lioness” has rebounded from a loss to Cat Zingano that she probably should have won to a four-fight win streak, including stopping Miesha Tate convincingly to win the belt at UFC 200 in the summer.
Now in the wake of the “media silence” that Rousey is self-enforcing in the preamble, there doesn’t seem to be any appreciable increase of attention for Nunes.
always a pleasure to visit you guys thank you for today 🏆 Foi massa hj. @bigwoodmma @Roxyfighter 👊 pic.twitter.com/XoU5alrD3p

And according to TMZ Sports, now that Rousey has blocked and unfollowed Nunes on Instagram, well, that could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
I was just kidding there in that last part. But let me digress for a moment.

Okay. If Nunes can keep the focus on what she needs to do to prepare for the fight, she will be in the best position to perform well and get the win. It’s obviously a good strategy for her to expect the best Rousey at the fight to be prepared. Rousey is far too intelligent to underestimate her and I personally think she’s going full Rocky-Balboa back-to-the-basics training mode to get ready.
I think Nunes will want to strike first to take some starch out of Rousey and if that doesn’t work or if the opening is there, get a takedown and work in a little BJJ to wear her down. Ronda, on the other hand, will try to overwhelm Nunes with strikes, while looking for a takedown of her own to work her judo and get the old-school armbar.

The fight is not far away! Let the best woman win in a great battle.
Well, Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino was informed of a potential anti-doping violation and though Justino claims it’s not as bad as it looks, she is looking at a possible fine and suspension, keeping her from the new UFC women’s featherweight title scene for awhile.
Say it ain't so?! Fans can trust my violation is not PED but Medical need. I didn't fight feb 11 as I'm in recoveryhttps://t.co/GbxSIlVROo
