New York UFC light heavyweight No.14 Gian Villante (15-7-0) will get an opportunity to take down a legend at Brazil’s UFC Fight Night 106 Mar. 11 when he faces former PRIDE and UFC champion No.7 Mauricio “Shogun” Rua (24-10-0).
Villante is coming off an impressive TKO finish of Russian prospect Saparbek Safarov at UFC Fight Night 102 and has four wins in his last six fights.
