Gegard Mousasi gets former champion Chris Weidman at Buffalo’s UFC 210

No.5 UFC middleweight contender Gegard Mousasi (41-6-2) will face  former middleweight champion Chris Weidman (13-2-0) at UFC 210 on April 8.

Mousasi had been campaigning for the fight and it seems he stirred up the ire of Weidman after accusing him of ducking his challenge.

The 31-year-old “Dreamcatcher” avenged a loss to Uriah Hall in his last bout at UFC Fight Night 99, part of a four-fight win streak.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old “All-American,” currently ranked No.4, has been finished in his last two fights and needs a win to stay in the title shot conversation. His home state of New York would be a great place to do it.

UFC 210 takes place April 8 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo.
