UFC 211 will get two big heavyweight fights as champion Stipe Miocic (16-2-0) defends against former champion No. 4 Junior dos Santos (18-4-0), while No. 5 Ben Rothwell (36-10-0) takes on No.1 and former champ Fabricio Werdum (21-6-1).
Most fans remember dos Santos’ narrow decision win over Miocic in December 2014 at UFC on FOX 13. JDS took a lot of punishment and while Miocic lost, he showed he could compete with the best.

Dos Santos’ road back to a title shot has been a tough one, going 3-2-0 since losing the belt to Cain Velasquez in 2012. He defeated Rothwell by decision in his last bout.
Then we have Werdum, another former champion who is trying to get another shot. Since losing the belt to Miocic at UFC 198, he decisioned Travis Browne at UFC 203. Rothwell had a four-fight win streak over some big names deflated with a loss to dos Santos, but a win over Werdum keeps him in the conversation.
UFC 211 is scheduled for May 13 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. More matches are expected to be announced.
