UFC 210 is now in the books, and what a wild night it was.

Despite the New York Commission appearing to say (on a video) that the Cynthia Calvillo (5-0-0) vs Pearl Gonzalez (6-2-0) fight was off due to Gonzalez’s breast implants, the fight happened.

What we saw is perhaps the making of another strawweight star.

Calvillo was a step ahead of a bigger and tough Gonzalez en route to a third-round rear-naked choke submission victory.

But in the post-fight press conference, Calvillo’s poise and charisma shone through, while UFC president Dana White gushed about her performance.

Let’s not forget about Gonzalez. She had her troubles on the ground, but defensively, she showed her toughness escaping several choke attempts by Calvillo. For her UFC debut, I thought it was a good showing, deserving of an opportunity to compete in the division.

Next week’s UFC on FOX on 24 features two strawweight bouts.

In the bantamweight division, No.13 Ashlee-Evans Smith (5-1-0) takes on Ketlen Vieira (7-0-0), while on the main card, strawweight No.4 Rose Namajunas (6-3-0) takes on No. 6 Michelle Waterson (14-4-0).

UFC 210 wore me out.
