UFC 212: Former WSOF champ Marlon Moraes debuts against Raphael Assuncao

Rio’s UFC 212 will feature the debut of former World Series of Fighting (WSOF) bantamweight champion Marlon Moraes (18-4-1), as he takes on No.3 Raphael Assuncao (24-5-0) at 135 pounds.

In WSOF, Moraes, 28, defended the belt five times and was undefeated in 11 fights. He will meet the 34-year-old veteran in Assuncao, who took home a split-deicison from Aljamain Sterling in his last contest.

UFC 212 is scheduled to take place June 3 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
