Floyd Mayweather (49-0-0, 26 KOs) and UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor (0-0-0, 0 KOs, 21-3-0, MMA) will be in at Toronto’s Sony Centre for the Performing Arts July 12 for a press conference on their upcoming August 26 boxing showdown.
The doors open at 4:30 p.m ET, with the live show to begin at 6 p.m. ET.
McGregor, 28, who is making his professional boxing debut, has captured the attention of the sports world by challenging Mayweather who is considered the best boxer of his generation. Despite being an underdog by most, “Notorious” has not toned down his trash talk and has posted his training regimen on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Mayweather, 40, whose last fight was against Andre Berto in 2015, is looking to break Rocky Marciano’s undefeated record with a 50th consecutive victory.

The fight is scheduled for August 26 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The press tour also stops in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and London.
UPDATE: Toronto’s event has been moved to the Budweiser Stage to help accommodate the approximate 30,000 tickets that have been snapped up. The UFC has stated that complimentary tickets will be made available on Monday July 10 at 10 a.m. EST at Ticketmaster.
