Facing intense scrutiny over Jeff Horn’s (17-0-1, 11 KOs) controversial unanimous decision win over Manny Pacquiao (59-7-2, 38 KOs) last week, the World Boxing Organization (WBO) has reversed its stance and agreed to re-score the fight but has no plans to alter the result.

The WBO said it was responding to a complaint from the Philippines Games and Amusements Board (GAB).

Horn won the WBO welterweight title that was scored 117-111 by Wales Roldan, and 115-113 each by Chris Flores and Ramon Cerdan.

Both fighters have rematch clauses, but it is unknown whether concrete plans have been made for a rematch.
