UFC No.9 women’s strawweight Felice Herrig (13-6-0) tweeted yesterday that her opponent at Detroit’s UFC 218 is No. 12 Cortney Casey (7-4-0).
While the company has not yet officially confirmed the bout, Casey retweeted news of the bout to her followers.

Herrig,32, is looking to continue her three-fight win streak, including a decision win over Justine Kish in her last fight at UFC Fight Night 112 in June.
Casey was embroiled in an anti-doping allegation and suspended three months by the Texas Department of Licensing (TDLR) following her in-competition sample and decision win over Jessica Aguilar at UFC 211. The 30-year-old Phoenix native was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing after subsequent samples showed no evidence of an elevated testosterone ratio and some pressure from the UFC on the TDLR to make a prompt ruling.
UFC 218 is scheduled for Dec. 2 at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
More bouts are expected to be announced.
