— Max Holloway (@BlessedMMA) October 4, 2017
This will be 25-year-old Holloway’s first defence since stopping Jose Aldo for the undisputed crown at UFC 212 in June. He previously defeated Anthony Pettis for the interim belt at UFC 206, part of an 11-fight win streak.
Meanwhile, Edgar stopped prospect Yair Rodriguez at UFC 211 in May. It will be interesting to see if “Blessed” can neutralize Edgar’s wrestling with his striking. “The Answer” also has boxing, and many fans are anticipating who can outperform the other wherever the fight goes.
