Jennifer Maia (15-4-1) retained her flyweight title with a unanimous decision win over Polish challenger Agnieszka Niedzwiedz (10-1-0) in the main event of Invicta FC 26 in Friday evening in Kansas City.
Despite being knocked down in round one and taken down in round three, Maia used her power clinch, and counterstriking to recover and outwork Niedzwiedz over the five round fight. All three judges scored it 49-46.
