Canadian Sarah Kaufman signs with Invicta FC

Invicta FC announced today that Canadian women’s bantamweight Sarah Kaufman (18-4-0, 1NC) has joined the roster.

Kaufman, 32, will debut at Invicta FC 27 in January against an opponent who will be named later.

Kaufman is a former Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion who originally joined Invicta in 2013, parlaying a split-decision win over Leslie Smith at Invicta FC 5 into a four fight run in the UFC. She left the UFC in 2015 after going 1-2-0 with one no-contest.

Kaufman’s last fight was a decision win over Jessica-Rose Clark at BFC – Battlefield: The Great Beginning in March.
