UFC Fight Night 126: Texas fighters Lewis and Northcutt look to represent
Austin’s UFC Fight Night 126 will feature at least two hometown heroes come February 2018.
Lightweight blue-chipper Sage Northcutt (9-2-0) will return to the octagon to take on Frenchman Thibault Gouti (12-3-0) while Houston’s Derrick Lewis (18-5-0) will make his comeback from retirement against Marcin Tybura (16-3-0).
“Super,” 21, is looking to add to his decision win over Michel Quinones. It was his only fight of 2017, after a busy 2016 in which he went 1-2-0.

Gouti, 30, recently napped a three fight losing skid with a TKO win over Andrew Holbrook at UFC Fight Night 115 in September.

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old Lewis, who originally retired after a Mark Hunt loss at UFC Fight Night 110 in June, is back in the saddle against a young gun trying to rediscover his mojo. He is still ranked No. 6 in the official UFC heavyweight rankings.

The No. 8 Tybura, 32, lost to Fabricio Werdum at UFC Fight Night 121 in November.

More bouts are expected to be announced.
