Invicta FC 28: Morandin and Jandiroba battle for strawweight belt
The full card has been announced for Salt Lake City’s Invicta FC 28 card in March.
Brazilian strawweights Janaisa Morandin (10-1-0) and Virna Jandiroba (12-0-0) will compete for the company’s 115-pound belt in the main event.
The 23-year-old “Evil Princess” lost her cage debut with Invicta to former champion Livia Renata Souza but rebounded with a decision win over Kimberly Novaes at Invicta FC 26 in December 2017.
In the meantime, Jandiroba, 29, submitted Amy Montenegro in her debut at Invicta FC 26.
The co-main event has Japan’s Mizuki Inoue (12-4-0) taking on Milana Dudieva (11-7-0). Inoue, 23, has a four fight win streak going, but hasn’t fought since July 2016 at Invicta FC 18, where she submitted Lynn Alvarez.
Dudieva, 28, hails from Russia and needs a win badly. She has lost her last four bouts, including a TKO loss to Vanessa Porto at Invicta FC 26.
