After featherweight champion Max Holloway pulled out with an injury and on the brink of cancellation, replacement main and co-main events have been found for UFC 222 in Las Vegas.

Invicta FC bantamweight champion Yana Kunitskaya (10-3-0) will step into the octagon and challenge UFC featherweight champ Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino (18-1-0, 1NC).

Kunitskaya, 28, won the Invicta crown at Invicta FC 25 in August 2017, defeating Raquel Pa’ Aluhi.

Justino, 32, is currently enjoying a 20 fight unbeaten streak which dates back over ten years to November 2005. She defeated Holly Holm by decision in her last bout at UFC 219 in December 2017.

In the co-main event, former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar (22-5-1) faces the streaking Brian Ortega (13-0-0, 1NC), who is stepping in for Holloway.

UFC 222 is scheduled for Mar. 3 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Current bouts include:
