UFC vet Magnus Cedenblad announces retirement

Cedenblad, 36, leaves the octagon almost two years to his last fight, a TKO loss to Jack Marshmann at UFC Fight Night 99 in November 2016. Swedish UFC middleweight Magnus Cedenblad (14-5-0) announced is retirement yesterday on his Instagram account.

Cedenblad, 36, leaves the octagon almost two years to his last fight, a TKO loss to Jack Marshmann at UFC Fight Night 99 in November 2016. He debuted in April 2012 as a light heavyweight, losing to Francis Carmount, but then moved down to middleweight in his third fight.

After Carmont, “Jycken” racked off four straight victories and emerged with a 4-2-0 record in the UFC.
