Cody Garbrandt opens up on suicide attempt as a teenager

Former UFC bantamweight champion Cody “No Love” Garbrandt (11-2-0) recently shared with I Am Second a dark moment in his youth where he was “feeling unaccomplished” and nearly hung himself before being saved by his brother Zach.

It’s the first time that Garbrandt revealed the attempt to take his life, but he documented his rough upbringing in his book “The Pact,” published earlier this year.

Garbrandt recently lost to T.J. Dillashaw in a bantamweight title rematch at UFC 227 on Aug. 4.
