UFC Buenos Aires: Santiago Ponzinibbio battles Neil Magny
The first UFC event in Argentina, UFC Fight Night 140, will have a native son in No. 10 welterweight Santiago Ponzinibbio (26-3-0), who will take on American No. 8 Neil Magny (21-6-0) in the main event.
The UFC confirmed the fight during UFC 228 last weekend.
The “Gente Boa,” 31, has done well in the octagon, going 8-2-0 since his 2013 debut and is on a six fight win streak. He decisioned Mike Perry in his last bout at UFC on FOX 26 in December 2017.

Magny, 31, has been workmanlike in the UFC over the years, going 14-5-0 since his 2013 debut. After upsetting the return of Carlos Condit at UFC 219, he finished Craig White at UFC Fight Night 130 in May.

UFC Fight Night 140 is scheduled for Nov. 17 at the Parque Roca Arena in Buenos Aires. Tentative matches include:
