Strawweight champion Joshua Pacio defends against Yosuke Saruta at ONE: Eternal Glory

Asian MMA organization ONE Championship announced strawweight titleholder Joshua Pacio (13-2-0) will now defend against Japanese challenger Yosuke Saruta (18-8-3) instead of Hayato Suzuki at January’s ONE: Eternal Glory.

Pacio, 22, is enjoying a four fight win streak since losing to Suzuki in August 2017.  He was supposed to rematch Hayato Suzuki, but an injury forced Suzuki to withdraw.

Saruto, 31, recently decisioned Alex Silva at  ONE: Destiny of Champions Dec. 7. He has won five of his last six contests.

ONE: Eternal Glory is scheduled for January 19 at the Istora Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia. The current lineup is:
