UFC 234: Ricky Simon reveals he’s fighting Rani Yahya

American bantamweight Ricky Simon (14-1-0) took to his social media to announce he’s fighting Brazilian Rani Yahya (26-9-0, 1NC) at Melbourne’s UFC 234 in February.

The bout has not yet been confirmed by the UFC.

Simon, 26, has won his first two octagon bouts since debuting in April 2018. His last fight was a decision win over Montel Jackson at UFC 227 in August.

Meanwhile, Yahya, 34, is enjoying a three fight win streak, all of them by submission. At UFC Fight Night 135 in August, he heel-hooked Luke Sanders in an impressive 91 seconds. In fact, all of his 20 career finishes have been taps.

UFC 234 is scheduled for Feb. 10, 2019 at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia. Current bouts include:
