The signing is yet another in a number of former UFC fighters now under the ONE banner.

Okami, 37, was last in the UFC in 2017 and 2018, going 1-2-0. Overall, he is 14-7-0 in the octagon. He is expected to compete at 185 pounds in ONE.

Many North American fans remember Okami challenging Anderson Silva in 2011 for the middleweight title, and for dominating Tim Boetsch for two rounds at UFC 144, but losing the final round via TKO.

Terms were not released.
