Heavyweights No. 9 Alexey Oleynik (57-11-1) and Walt Harris (12-7-0) will meet at Ottawa’s UFC Fight Night 150 in May.
Oleynik, 41, is coming off a submission win over Mark Hunt at UFC Fight Night 136 last September, which is part of a 6-2-0 record in the octagon. He recently added a new sponsor in ETMFG Alternative Harvest ETF.
Meanwhile, Harris, 35, is on a two fight win streak. He edged Andrei Arlovski in his last fight at UFC 232 last December and choked out Junior Albini at UFC 224 in May. A win over Oleynik is a good opportunity to leapfrog into the rankings.
