UFC on ESPN 4: Alexander Hernandez vs. Francisco Trinaldo confirmed

"Alexander The Great" will have the hometown advantage

The UFC confirmed Tuesday that lightweight Texan Alexander Hernandez (10-2-0) will face Brazilian Francisco Trinaldo (23-6-0) at San Antonio’s UFC on ESPN 4 in July.

Hernandez, 26, will be the hometown favourite. Although he had an eight fight win streak snapped by Donald Cerrone at UFC on ESPN+ 1 in January, he owns previous wins over Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Beneil Dariush.

Trinaldo, 40, has been in the UFC since June 2012, recently defeated Evan Dunham at UFC Fight Night 137 in September 2018. It will be interesting if he can stop “Alexander The Great.”

UFC on ESPN 4 is scheduled for July 20 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. Current bouts include:

Rafael dos Anjos (29-11-0) vs. Leon Edwards (17-3-0)

Walt Harris (12-7-0) vs. Alexey Oleinik (57-12-1)

Andrei Arlovski (27-18-0) vs. Ben Rothwell (36-11-0)

Mario Bautista (6-1-0) vs. Jin Soo Son (9-3-0)
